The Mosbach in the Hessian state capital Wiesbaden is an 11.3 km long, orographic right tributary of the Rhine. In its upper reaches it is called Weilburger Bach and Belzbach.

East of the Dotzheim forest cemetery, the stream reaches the Dotzheim town center, which it crosses in a southeasterly direction, partially piped, with the new name Belzbach. The stream was renaturalized in 2018 at the House of Associations in Wiesengrund.[7] The Belzbach now runs further southeast in the Rheingau natural area, parallel to the Aartalbahn between the Sauerland settlement and the artists' quarter to the Straßenmühle, which now serves as a restaurant. The stream then enters the district of Biebrich and is now called Mosbach. It passes under Schiersteiner Straße / Bundesautobahn 643 at the Kahlemühle and flows in the Lohmühltal between the Gräselberg settlement and the Waldstraßenviertel with the former Waldstraße train station. The Spätenmühle no longer exists,[8] while the Lohmühle continues to exist as a tourist restaurant. The Mosbach runs along the meadow of the traditional Gibber Kerb, passes under the A66, crosses the Gibb settlement, passes under the right stretch of the Rhine at Wiesbaden-Biebrich station and the Äppelallee and then enters the Biebrich Palace Park.

In the palace park, the Nachtigallenbach soon branches off at the Mosburg, feeds the Mosburgweiher and flows back just before the Biebrich Palace. The Mosbach then flows past the venues of the International Pentecost Tournament Wiesbaden and finally flows into the Upper Rhine west of the Biebrich Palace. At the mouth, an average of 83.1 liters per second flow into the Rhine.

The shallow stream in Biebrich Palace Park is called the "Mosbach." The Mosbach rises south of the Hohe Wurzel mountain, north of Wiesbaden in the Taunus Mountains.

An information board explains the renaturation of the Mosbach in the Biebrich Palace Park.
