Tips
The Katzbach stream runs east of the Camp Spich industrial estate in the non-public part of the Wahner Heide. During the Belgian barracks era, the stream was largely piped. During the redevelopment, the pipes were removed, and the stream was rerouted around the construction site in a new, near-natural bed. The stream's restoration was completed in 2017.
