Die Anregung zur Tour gab ein älterer Rother Wanderführer, aber wie man das manchmal bei solchen Touren halt, war wohl auch hier das Motto: Hauptsache draußen, Weg egal. Schon zu Beginn hatten wir die Asphaltstrecke gegen die Wegführung den Seitensprung Borjer Ortsbachpädche eingetauscht, der wir bis zum Birkenhof gefolgt sind. Danach Asphalt und breite Forstwege bis zum Abstieg zum Duidenstein. Da wir für den Rückweg nicht auch wieder sowas haben wollten, stiegen wir kurzentschlossen zur Mosel hinab, was uns ca 1km auf dem begleitenden Radweg der B49 bescherte, immerhin mit Ausblick aufs Moselhochwasser.

Ab Cond über den Kreuzweg auf die Brauseley, Moselhöhenweg bis Valwiger Berg, Moselsteig bis Eisener Mast, Bienenerlebnis-Pfad und Archäologischer Wanderweg, der sich leider als Waldautobahn entpuppte, so dass wir bald nach Bruttig abgestiegen sind.
