Museum Square (Piața Muzeului) is the oldest market square in the city. The city's first citadel was located here. Its current name comes from the fact that the National History Museum of Transylvania is located in the Petrekhevich Horvath House on the west side of the square. You can also see the Carolina Obelisk, the Mikes House and the Franciscan Church here.
