The gate tower from around 1350 forms the southern entrance to the city and was the seat of the city tower until the beginning of our century. It has been popularly known as the "cat tower" since the last tower keeper, while pulling up firewood, survived a fall from the penultimate floor onto a large brush pile in the main street like a cat unscathed.

Cycling
