The construction of the Expiatory Church of the Sacred Heart, designed by Enric Sagnier, began in 1902 and ended in 1961.
It is a monumental building with neo-Gothic architecture and crowned by a bronze statue of the Sacred Heart.
An elevator allows you to go up to the top of the expiatory temple, 575 m above sea level, from where you can enjoy views of the city of Barcelona.
