Before 1899, Rabeninsel could not be found on the city maps of the city of Halle because the city had not yet expanded that much. Only in the plan from 1899 can you see that the development around Wörmlitzer Straße (then up to Böllberger Weg) was slowly emerging and the planning of the streets up to today's Pestalozzistrasse (then Böllberger Mühlrain) was progressing. This year there is no visible bridge to the island yet, but a ferry ran across from Böllberg.
