As part of the exhibition "Saint Wendelin - a city patron conquers the world" in the St. Wendel Museum, a bronze sculpture of Saint Wendelin, created by Kurt Tassotti, was erected in front of the Mia Münster House in October 2009. Tassotti chose to depict the saint as a shepherd with a shepherd's staff and a sheep in his arms. In sandals, a shepherd's cloak and a monk's tonsure with a wreath of hair, Saint Wendelin stands in philosophical serenity and prudence in front of the entrance to the museum and library.
