The small chapel stands in a tiny clearing in the middle of a beech forest. The rustic building in log cabin construction fits perfectly in this quiet place.

Behind the chapel is the small cemetery of the Sonderburg-Glücksburg family. When we were there, the big gate was open and we were able to do a short, hopefully respectful, lap. The rhododendron in bloom was gorgeous!
Since no one else mentions the graveyard here, I assume the gate is otherwise locked? 🤔
