The Blue Lake is not a natural body of water. Here was formerly the site of a limestone quarry, which filled after the termination of mining in 1932 with groundwater. Actually, there are two quarries: the smaller quarry was in the area of today's natural stage, the higher, dry arid area forms the open air stage; The "gray hole" was created in the lower part.
