On 11 March 1920 it was decided to build the hydroelectric power plant, on 3 November 1921 it went into operation. At that time, 2.6 million kilowatt hours could be generated annually and fed into the network of the municipal electricity utility. Today, the two Francis shaft turbines produce around 3 million kilowatt hours of electricity a year for enercity - efficient, consumption-oriented, regenerative and reliable.
