Hiking
The Sinne Fountain, located in the shadow of the city gate 'Dolder', was built in 1560. The fountain was used by the inhabitants within the context of wine growing for measuring (Sinne) the contents of barrels using a special measuring bag .
The coat of arms bears the coat of arms of the lords of Horbourg (star) and the arms of Riquewihr (star and three deer antlers).

Hiking
The Fontaine de la Sinne features a circular basin supporting a column crowned by a heraldic lion. The lion holds the coat of arms of Riquewihr (three stag antlers, surmounted by a six-pointed star) on the left and that of the Horbourg family, the town's first lords, on the right (a cross and star in the right canton). The year 1560 is engraved on a phylactery on the back of the statue. A commemorative inscription is located on the post supporting the column.

On the right side of the Dolder is the fountain of the senses, the Fontaine de la Sinne. The fountain was built in 1560. The fountain played a very important role in the wine trade: it was used to measure the contents of wine barrels. A vat calibrated with a scale was used for the measurement.
