Either by bike, but even better on foot. A typical Frisian village.

A place with a lot of charm, time seems to have stood still here.
Narrow streets with cobblestones exude memories from another time...
If you want to escape the tourist hustle and bustle of Greetsiel -
👍🏻Pilsum would be recommended 👌🏼
The Pilsum lighthouse is located on the North Sea dike, near the town of Pilsum, which belongs to the municipality of Krummhörn.🧭
Height approx. 12 meters
Diameter approx. 4.4 meters
Completed in 1890
Decommissioned in 1919
Extensive renovation in 1973, here it also received its striking red and yellow paint job.❤️💛
The tower became popular through the film
Otto - Der Außerfriesische by comedian Otto Waalkes.
The lighthouse also appears in
Otto - Der Katastrophenfilm.
The municipality of Krummhörn uses the tower as a wedding room.👰♂️🤵♂️
