A place to linger and let your gaze wander to the impressive Renaissance castle or the old trees in the castle park, which Duke Adolf of Schleswig-Holstein-Gottorf once had laid out.
At this point, the mill pond not only connects the towns of Reinbek and Wentorf, but also the districts of Stormarn and the Duchy of Lauenburg. When there is no wind, the old treetops are beautifully reflected on the water surface. Only the duck families that make their rounds here break the stillness of the water.
