Gudenau Castle is a very beautiful moated castle (photo motif) that was built in the 13th century. It was badly damaged in 1944 and 1954 and then restored by the Counts of Strasoldo, who still own it today. When the outer gate is open, it is definitely worth entering the non-restricted area to get a better view of the moated castle and the baroque garden with its fountain.
