Theodor Heuss, the first President of the Federal Republic of Germany, lived here from 1959 to 1963. The Theodor Heuss House represents democracy as a way of life. It is a place of education, debate, and exchange. The Theodor Heuss House is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., including on public holidays.

The last residence of the first German President, Theodor Heuss. Since 1995, it has been used as a museum by a foundation named after him. The former living quarters can also be visited. A permanent exhibition on the topic of "Democracy as a Way of Life" is also held here.
