The Westerpoort, main entrance to the convent, and the porter's building are among the oldest parts of the abbey. Built in the 16th century, this building survived the destruction of 1572. It was restored in the second half of the 17th century and equipped with a tower, which is unfortunately no longer present today. The building is erected according to a classical scheme: a wide gate for carriages and a smaller one, reserved for pedestrians. Both openings give access to a space covered with cross vaults.
