This two-tiered fountain is a major attraction in Central Park, with The Lake and the Bow Bridge behind it.
The sculpture atop the fountain is called the Angel of the Waters, and the whole thing was constructed to celebrate an aqueduct that brought fresh water to the city in 1842.
