This "Würzburg Riese" was used after the war by the observatory near Marche-en-Famenne and has been part of the collection of the Raversijde provincial domain in Ostend since 2009. The ten-meter-high radar was thoroughly restored in 2014.

This type of radar was not a target search radar but a target tracking radar. This means that the antenna does not rotate, but continuously follows a target once it has been detected. The Würzburg radar is also known as FuMG 39 T (Funkmeßgerät, introduced in 1939, manufacturer Telefunken) or FuMG 62 (Luftwaffe designation). It was named after the German city of Würzburg.
This radar in Ostend is located on a train wagon and is part of the Atlantic Wall collection of the Raversyde domain.
