The market at Winterfeldtplatz has existed since 1990 and always takes place on Wednesdays and Saturdays. With more than 250 stalls on a regular basis, Saturday's market is Berlin's biggest weekly market. Numerous vegetable, fruit, cheese and sausage stalls are accompanied by numerous food stalls, clothing vendors and all kinds of handmade items. With the varied gastronomy around the square you can comfortably spend a whole Saturday here while doing the weekly shopping.
