    Hiking

The Keppgrund is one of the romantic side valleys of the Elbe. At the Keppbach, which flows through the bottom and gives its name, there used to be four mills (Marschners Mühle, Huhles Mühle, Weinberggutsmühle, Keppmühle). Today only the Keppmühle is left. In the 19th century, the Keppgrund was the preferred stay of Carl Maria von Weber, who worked here on his opera “Euryanthe”. The popularity of the Keppgrund is certainly due to the contrast, on the one hand the natural stream course in the lower part and the open landscape in the upper part.

Great, dreamy path, unfortunately currently closed because of the dilapidated stairs at the Keppmühle, but until then it's harmless
