The "Eiserner Steg" (Iron Bridge) that crosses the Roter Main in the valley below Ottmannsreuth can hardly be confused with the famous "Eiserner Steg" (Iron Bridge) in Frankfurt, a massive iron pedestrian bridge over the Main that has been in use since 1868. Here in the idyllic Rotmain valley, just two people can pass each other on the narrow footbridge. But it is important for getting to the beautiful Rotmain-Steig from the west.
