Adjacent to the Bodenmühle mill is the so-called "Red Wall" or Bodenmühlwand, one of Bavaria's most beautiful geotopes. On this steep bank of the Red Main River, colorful Keuper rock strata are exposed, offering geological insights into a time when the region was covered by a lagoon. The geotope is a popular destination for hikers and nature enthusiasts.
