The Evangelical Lutheran town church, a baroque margrave church, is worth a visit. Built at the beginning of the 18th century.
It also contains various parts of the former monastery church from the early 15th century.

The altar from 1720, the baptismal font by Johann Georg Brenck with the donor's coat of arms from 1668 and the stucco pulpit by Bernardo Quadri from 1708 are worth seeing. The ceiling stucco and the margrave's coat of arms on the choir arch are also by B. Quadri (1708). The historically valuable Purucker organ is now in the cemetery church, which was built as a hall church. But the current Steinmeyer organ in the church is also already under monument protection again, as it has never been changed.

The Trinity Church in Neustadt am Kulm is a gem in the region. Neustadt belonged to the Margraviate of Brandenburg-Kulmbach/Bayreuth. The town was founded in 1370 by the Burggraves of Nuremberg from the House of Hohenzollern. In 1413 they received permission from the Pope to found a Carmelite monastery. The Reformation turned the monastery church into a Lutheran parish church. After it was destroyed in the Thirty Years' War, it took a long time before the church could be restored. But it now shines in bright light with white walls and bright colors. The Protestant exclave became part of Upper Palatinate under Bavarian rule.
