The Stendal town hall is a group building that consists of several wings from different eras: the courthouse, the Gewandhaus (now houses the Ratskeller), the main wing and, in the 19th century, the last building in the Renaissance style. Together with St. Mary's Church, it forms the ensemble of the market square. Beautiful to look at and the jewel of the Hanseatic town of Stendal.

The Stendal Town Hall is a historic building which dates back to the 15th century and was rebuilt and renovated several times in the following centuries. It is located directly on the market and, together with the Marienkirche, the Gerichtslaube and the Roland, forms an unmistakable ensemble.
