Hiking
A stately chapel is said to have existed in Affalterthal as early as 1071 (according to the chronicle of Hans von Egloffstein).
A chapel was built in 1430 (according to Erich von Guttenberg).
The nave was expanded to its current state in 1530.
Renovated in 1781, 1851, 1887, 1936, 1966, and 1995.
A baroque pulpit, made of linden wood, dates from 1672.
In the tower chancel is a baroque crucifix, also from around 1700.

It is a choir tower church, with nave and hipped roof, choir tower 13th century, changed around 1437, raised in 1850 while retaining the onion dome from 1720, the core of the nave is from the late Middle Ages, remodeled around 1580;
