Tips
The ponds are fed by the Abeek. A natural pre-purification system has been used and the ponds flow into each other in a cascade system where there is a slalom effect and everything seems to meander. You can read more about it on an information board near the pond, which is often almost invisible in the summer due to the tall grasses and water plants and where many water birds can be found early in the morning. That's how I came across a bittern.
