A bit scary and yet interesting at the same time. The abandoned Erzbergwerk Büchenberg has been empty for many years. The last as a holiday home operated building looks like a horror movie set. A branch further, however, you come to the mine. Here you can look into the past of the region. Numerous old machines and tools are exhibited here. If you are interested in the traditional past of the Harz, this is the place for you.
