Absolutely accessible route. Mostly asphalted. The one or the other part of the route is gravel, with Split o. Ä. And one or the other pothole. But still driving very well. What has inspired me is the vision in the heights of Recklinghausen :-)! For example, Becklem (Hochfeld) Suderwich (Frankenweg, direction A 2 and beyond in the plane), Quellberg (Ostcharweg, direction Halde Hoheward and colliery Ewald)). Unfortunately, today it was very hazy and photos were not worth it.

Actually, there should be a part 2, the way back. Due to the weather, we started from Wesel with the regional train. The tour was so good that we will probably do it again. But then there and back.

At the beginning of the tour are missing a few kilometers. After the app update I have reschedule problems with the automatic routes. Tour is lost, tour must be restarted again and again.

On old railway lines through the green. Along heaps, past old mines, through many nature reserve. Here are a few directions: little slopes, thereby very pleasant to drive. In front of the Marina Rünthe the bike path is suddenly over (in the long run now locked). Here simply left along the fence, right on the water. Attention: very sand the way, better here is the bike to push. Then there is still later on the track still a block between Heeren and Kamen, the A1 sub-crossing is still tight. Here you can follow the diversion U2 (as we do): U-plates are very rare. Here I would before the road "In der Bredde" to the right (instead of left) follow and then right in "Schnepperfeld" to Heerener road, here to the left under the highway through and right again on the route up.If you are hungry now, continue until you reach the Kuhbachweg fork, then turn right at the junction and stop at the Greek restaurant. Eat yummy wat and then back on the track. Here you have the choice: Kuhbachweg or continue on the Klöcknerbahn. We have chosen the Kuhbachweg.

Start of the tour on the Dortmund-Ems-Kanal, along to number 54. Even in the sun, nice to drive, as trees cast their shadows.Continue to No. 55 through the graving wood north of Eving. Now you drive on the old Gneisenautrasse until the number 21. If you want to go directly to Lünen, turn off before heading towards the city center. The nicer route (but continue cycling) is to ride to the number 21, then 20/17/18 (past Lake Horstmarer) and 23 (Alt-Lünen).Lünen-Mitte invites you for a break (coffee, ice cream, cake 🤗). Continue to watch the gliding area.Continue to junction 25 (Buddenburg Mill) and cross the canal (at the power station) to No. 26.On the way back along the Datteln-Hamm-Canal, back via Waltrop to CAS.

The Old Ride in Olfen is truly a highlight. Here you can watch many animals. As in the Steverauen of Olfen. A herd of poitou donkeys, storks and more. After that, a stop at the Bauerhofcafe in Kökelsum is definitely worthwhile. Here it is nice to rest and enjoy delicious. Back it goes in the direction of good Eversum - Attention: The lip bridge in Ahsen is closed - the detour behind the Waldferiendorfsiedlung right on the lip along but worth it. Back to the canal along the Haard. If you want to rest again can z. B. in mother Wehner.
The tour is definitely "pure nature".

One can enter the Rhenish donkey significantly earlier. Unfortunately, from Phoenix West, the node system did not lead me directly to the beginning. It should be noted that the Rhenish donkey is closed in Witten from the Toom Baumarkt business park. Diversion is signposted. But leads directly to a busy road (including construction sites) along. Is not pleasant to drive.
A stop at the house Dellwig (Heimatmuseum Lütgendortmund) is well worth it and in Merklinde (CAS) you will find tracks next to the track which are overgrown tracks of an old route. A short stop at the Hammerkopf tower, then it goes downhill. On the outskirts you have a great view, you can see the power plant in Lünen. I am always surprised what you can discover in Castrop-Rauxel and its surroundings.

Unfortunately, the Emscherweg is still not passable. At present, a blockage is just behind Mengede. Detour is well signposted, it goes to the nice and Nahverkehrsmuseum. Then you meet the Emscher again.
Arrived at the destination, it can be rested well in the beer garden of the Bergmannsbrauerei.
The route I have not previously planned on the computer. Here I have tested the nodal point system. Works well.
