The nicer route (but continue cycling) is to ride to the number 21, then 20/17/18 (past Lake Horstmarer) and 23 (Alt-Lünen).Lünen-Mitte invites you for a break (coffee, ice cream, cake 🤗). The Old Ride in Olfen is truly a highlight. Here you can watch many animals. As in the Steverauen of Olfen. A herd of poitou donkeys, storks and more. After that, a stop at the Bauerhofcafe in Kökelsum is definitely worthwhile. Here it is nice to rest and enjoy delicious. Back it goes in the direction of good Eversum - Attention: The lip bridge in Ahsen is closed - the detour behind the Waldferiendorfsiedlung right on the lip along but worth it. Back to the canal along the Haard. If you want to rest again can z. B. in mother Wehner.
The tour is definitely "pure nature".

One can enter the Rhenish donkey significantly earlier. Unfortunately, from Phoenix West, the node system did not lead me directly to the beginning. It should be noted that the Rhenish donkey is closed in Witten from the Toom Baumarkt business park. Diversion is signposted. But leads directly to a busy road (including construction sites) along. Is not pleasant to drive.
A stop at the house Dellwig (Heimatmuseum Lütgendortmund) is well worth it and in Merklinde (CAS) you will find tracks next to the track which are overgrown tracks of an old route. A short stop at the Hammerkopf tower, then it goes downhill. On the outskirts you have a great view, you can see the power plant in Lünen. I am always surprised what you can discover in Castrop-Rauxel and its surroundings.

Unfortunately, the Emscherweg is still not passable. At present, a blockage is just behind Mengede. Detour is well signposted, it goes to the nice and Nahverkehrsmuseum. Then you meet the Emscher again.
Arrived at the destination, it can be rested well in the beer garden of the Bergmannsbrauerei.
The route I have not previously planned on the computer. Here I have tested the nodal point system. Works well.
