Ironstone quarry "Devil's Pit" has the shape of a funnel with an exit sloping along the north slope. The existence of the quarry is mentioned in 1441 as the 'pit' from which the lord had stone pulled. It is the oldest known mention of a Wezemaal quarry. You can recognize the quarry from the walking path by looking for the clear depression in the forest, there is also a fairly large bench next to it.
