The Our Lady of Assistance Chapel is located at the junction of Beninksstraat and Kapellekensweg (between two carriageways). The chapel was built in 1810 on a lime tree by order of a certain Miss Provoost, a Norbertinesse, and a certain Guillaume Verhaegen. The original lime tree has disappeared since 1987, a new one was planted a year later.
