The Eusebiuskerk has the shape of a three-aisled cross basilica. Construction began in 1450 and was completed after over a hundred years. In the church is the ceremonial tomb of the Duke Charles of Egmond. The 93 meter high tower houses a large carillon with the second largest carillon bell in the Netherlands.

During the Second World War, the church was largely destroyed with the city. While the nave was rebuilt faithfully, the tower received a modern completion, which was completed in 1964 and is accessible via a glass elevator as a viewing platform.
