Cycling

The village church in Arnsnesta is one of the half-timbered churches that once characterized the landscape between the Elbe and Elster. The little church was built in the middle of the 17th century. It thus testifies to the new beginning after the Thirty Years' War, in which the village was badly affected. A half-timbered tower, renewed in 1748, is attached to the nave. This received its curved hood in 1910. The interior of the church is aligned with the pulpit altar, which was created by converting an older pulpit. The ornamental painting dates from 1914/15.
