    Hiking

The church of Santiago el Mayor or Santiago del Arrabal is located next to the Puerta de Bisagra, in the northern area of the historic center of the city; It was built in the second half of the 13th century, under the patronage of Sancho II, King of Portugal. It is one of the clearest examples of a Toledo Mudejar-style building due to its large dimensions and pure lines, built in brick and taped masonry.

A day visiting the UNESCO rated hilltop city of Toledo with its cathedral and Alcazar. To be honest though whoever thought of building a cathedral at the top of a 500m hill and the car park at the bottom needs speaking to. At least they put in escalators all the way to the top though (honest 🤷). Stunning, stunning place.
