Strandvägskajen (also called Strandvägshamnen) is a quay and harbor area located between Ladugårdslandsviken and Strandvägen on Östermalm in Stockholm. Strandvägkajen stretches from Nybroviken in the west and Nobelparken in the east. The quay was built in the 1860s and 1870s. It is approximately 900 meters long (with an interruption for the Djurgårdsbron), approximately 20 meters wide and the water depth at the quayside is between 1.2 and 3.6 meters. According to Stockholm's city planning office, the quay is one of Stockholm's most important and beautiful public places. In January 2020, a detailed plan for the quay area was established, the purpose of which is, among other things, "to enable a long-term well-functioning and attractive development of the quay environment as a whole".

On this promenade there are picturesque magnificent buildings, embassies, hotels and the Royal Dramatic Theater. From here you can also explore the city from the water with the many tours on offer.

In the 19th century, there were only dilapidated houses and makeshift accommodation here, and the road was barely passable.
Today, Strandvägen is the “fine” address in Stockholm, and many celebrities have or have had their residence here, and numerous exclusive shops have their branches here.
