Hurricane Lothar got the ball rolling on December 26, 1999. In the Zinsbach valley in the community forest below the donkey path, a strong silver fir was noticed that had been uprooted and a large, beautifully hewn block of red sandstone had grown into its heart-shaped roots. Not far from there, a section of the reveal of a tracery window was found. This confirmed the location of the former Zinsbach chapel.

In the middle of the tour, in the forest, there is a very nice place to linger and take a break.
