Here at the Hirschau dam, the Neckar can be easily crossed.
According to the sign, cyclists should dismount and push.
The Neckar Canal to Tübingen is also controlled from here.

Hiking

The river power station near Tübingen-Hirschau at the Hirschau dam is a run-of-river power station between Tübingen-Hirschau and Tübingen-Weilheim and uses the water of the Neckar. The power station is located upstream of the much larger Rappenberghalde hydroelectric power station. It has a fish ladder on the Weilheim bank (Raugerinnebeckenpass).
