The Palaisgarten is a public historic park in Detmold and is maintained by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The park is 7.5 hectares in size and is located in the southern edge of Detmold's old town in the so-called New Town. Particularly worth seeing are the old trees, the wells and the cascades. All parts of the palace garden are listed and integrated into the garden landscape OWL and the European Garden Heritage Network (Wikipedia)
