Bremen's highest mountain is 40 meters high and is located on a disused section of the Blockland landfill. The 29 hectare area was extensively recultivated and has been available to the general public since July 2021. The freely accessible viewing platform is open around the clock all year round. Up here you have a fantastic panoramic view of Bremen and its surrounding area. The two and a half to four meter high harbor pilings that you see here are part of the Metalhenge work of art. The work references Stonehenge and is even an astronomical vantage point. The metal steles mark stars in the firmament and the setting points of the moon and sun.

Since 2021, a monumental work of art has stood on the disused part of the Blockland landfill, which not only serves as a viewing platform for visitors to see Bremen and the surrounding area, but also offers them a connection between the earthly and the cosmic as well as the past and the future, in reference to the English Stonehenge.

In addition to the view of Bremen, there is also a beautiful view of some allotment gardens that are located on the small Wümme at the foot of the hill.
