The oldest indoor swimming pool in Belgium is at the same time the youngest: it was thoroughly restored in 2001, so that the beautiful Art Deco interior is more beautiful than ever today.

The swimming pool also retains its public function as a bath house: those who live tightly can enjoy an extensive bath here.

In the lounge bar "Au bain" on the first floor you can enjoy a beautiful view of the swimming pool or the marina.

The portus Ganda (latin for Port of Ghent) is where the rivers Schelde and Leie come together. At the bridge there is a platform with benches to enjoy the view over the area which was once one of the founding nuclei of the city Ghent. Now you can find the yacht club here. At new years eve the bridge fills up with locals to enyoy the fireworks.
