The Lange Stein is a menhir near Saubach, also known under the names Langer Stein, Hermenfriedstein, Irminfriedstein or Hoher Stein. It is located directly west of a dirt road on a gently sloping southwest slope about 1.5 km northeast of Saubach.

It originally stood a little further west and was moved to its current location in the 19th century.

It consists of coarse-grained lignite quartzite and has the shape of a flat, almost rectangular plate. It's slightly wider at the top than at the bottom. The stone has a height of 185 cm, a width between 45 and 57 cm and a depth between 20 and 25 cm. Its surface is heavily weathered and the reverse shows signs of processing.
