The St. Amandus Church consists of a three-aisled nave under a single roof, with an integrated western tower, a three-sided choir, and a north and south sacristy. The interior features include the 16th-century baptismal font, two 17th-century portico altars in marbled wood, and the beautifully carved 18th-century wainscoting, churchwarden pew, choir stalls, and pulpit.
The organ dates from 1931 and was built by the Reygaert brothers from Geraardsbergen.

Open Church, accessible every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A Gothic church once stood here. Of these, only the substructure of the 15th-century square western tower was preserved (the superstructure was added in 1752 and 1928).
The church was in a neglected condition around the middle of the 17th century. As late as 1698 the choir was covered with straw.
In 1725 the church was thoroughly restored and provided with a vault. In 1752, the roof and walls of the tower were renovated: the wall anchors - 1752 - just below the reverberation holes testify to this. Three years later the church was paved with blue natural stone and white marble.

In 1830 the church was enlarged and in 1846 a new choir was built. The church was also extensively restored in 1972 - 74.
