The Marowski House was rebuilt in 1680 after devastating fires destroyed the previous buildings. However, some components could be saved and reused in the Marowski house. This makes it the oldest small-town handicraft house in Oderberg and at the same time the oldest town house in the Barnim and Märkisch-Oderland districts. The picturesque half-timbered house was a popular motif for artists in earlier centuries.
