One of the five bivouac zones in Haspengouw and where you can of course experience a fantastic Streek-GR Haspengouw adventure because they are all on or close to the route. This offers space for three tents and ten people and reservations are also required here. You will find all five discussed at bivakzone.be/5-x-haspengouw.html - this is where the Eyckenbos bivouac zone is located from where, quote, "you look out over the valley and the surrounding hills of the Cicindria valley".

The Bivouac Zone Eyckenbos is located in Sint-Truiden, district of Kerkom. Since 2019, it has been an attraction for adventurers who want to go out with their tent, alone or in a group and... it's free too. From here you can easily explore the neighborhood and take a nice walk or bike ride. The campsite is located on the GR-Haspengouw walking route.
