Enjoy the silence. Experience the seasons. Leave everyday life behind. See nature. A small refuge for people and animals was created in Friemersheim 106 years ago: the Kruppsee. If the “Toepper” attracts athletes, this inland water attracts more leisurely people.
It must have looked a bit desolate in 1898. Then Friedrich Alfred Krupp decided to expand the hut. What he needed were tons of sand and gravel. There were plenty of them here. And so the big industrialist also sent 'voles' to Bachstrasse.
