"Union August Thyssen-Hütte was the name of a mining company since 1919, which consisted of the Bruckhausen steelworks and the Deutscher Kaiser rolling mill in Dinslaken. The Bruckhauser Hütte was built by the Deutscher Kaiser union controlled by August Thyssen from 1889.
After the unbundling of the mining industry, August Thyssen Hütte AG was the name of the Thyssen core group until the takeover of Rheinstahl in 1973.
The smelter in Bruckhausen is still the main plant of the ThyssenKrupp Group today. ..."
