The village church Melzow is a rectangular field stone building with a three-window group and diaphragm gable in the east and was built at the end of the 13th century. The western half-timbered roof tower with field stone west wall is from the 18th century. The arched windows on the longest sides were changed later. The tower was completely repaired in 1996. Small round arches made of field and brick were built into the churchyard wall in the 18th century. Source: uckermark-kirchen.de/uckermark_l-o/kirche_melzow.htm
