The Church of Santa Maria Maddalena and San Gerolamo Emiliani, known simply as the Church of Maddalena, is a religious building located in the square of the same name in the historic center of Genoa. The church gives its name to the Maddalena district. The current church was built between the end of the 16th century and the first half of the 17th century on the site of an older religious building. Its parish community is part of the “Central West” Vicariate of the Archdiocese of Genoa.
