Hiking
The castle was built around 115o and in 1356 in the Anglo-French Empire. War destroyed. Together with the neighboring castle of Rathsamhausen, it was rebuilt by the Lords of Rathsamhausen-Ehenweyer and awarded as an imperial fiefdom.
During the Thirty Years' War, the castle, which had not been inhabited since 1570, was finally destroyed and has been in ruins ever since.
