The ruins of the Hagelschloss Castle are a historic site near Mont Saint-Odile in Alsace, France. The castle was built in the 13th century and was once a powerful fortress. It served as protection for the nearby monastery of Mont Sainte-Odile and was of strategic importance in the region. Over the centuries, the castle has been expanded and rebuilt several times. Today only a few remains of the wall remain,
